It is quite important that any profession gets new blood. The younger, the better.
This is not only because people don't live forever, but also because neither should ideas.
We all tend to believe at least some things. Some in deities, some in knowledge, some both. However, there is one thing that must be taken notice of - Even if there is perfect truth, then a human can not accurately explain what it is.
Due to this, people pass on ideas, but also lies. It doesn't mean that anyone has to have bad intentions, rather it's eventually unavoidable that something goes wrong.
Once a fault has been introduced into a system, there is nothing that a person inside the system can do about it. They won't even know it's there.
For this reason it is necessary that people outside the system have the ability to give critique. Yes, novices won't know the lot of information that professionals do, but for this same reason they can apply even greater scrutiny on any idea, small or big.
To conclude: A system without external forces tends to become corrupt. It is inevitable.

Mental training - empathic link
This is a little experiment with idea cards. The point is to establish a connection between 2 or more people.
Requires 3 people and some idea cards.
A - "book"
B - reader
C - assistant
A and B are sitting near eachother and looking in the opposite directions. A is given a card. Her goal is to explain which card it is to B without using articulated sentences - the simpler, the better. Questions are not allowed. Saying the word is not allowed.
Success is measured by how few words it takes to convey a meaning.
C hands the cards and checks whether a card has been recognized. Recognizing a card is considered to be when B confidently says the name of the symbol.
For the sake of clarity - A and B may know all existing cards before the assignment.
A and B should not think too much about C, but rather focus on each other.

Idea cards
They can vary from simple sheets of paper to actual cards. Every card has a symbol drawn or written on it. Each should be possible to name with only one word.
They are useful for organizing and simplifying ideas. There is no limit to how many cards can be made, but it is recommended to make the cards simple.

Dreams and wisdom
Dreams and intelligence are related. A persons dreams can only be as
sophisticated as is his understanding of the things in his dreams; his
current knowledge.
This is why dreaming is useful - a person can evaluate his ideas without any kind of new information.
The reason this is useful is that a greater part of the brain can focus on a single idea, while usually some would be working on processing input from the senses.
Hence takes form a hypothesis - a person can't dream of things he doesn't know, no matter how much information his head contains about it. Only understanding can cause dreams.

The beginning
I created this blog to write down and publish philosophical-sociological ideas. Next posts will show what I mean.
